Community
Support Worker/Support Hub Specialist
Hybrid/Flexi-Hybrid Role – Lincolnshire
30 hours per week
Salary: £25,900 – £29,150 (pro rata as applicable)

We are looking
for a compassionate, organised, and proactive Community Support Worker to join
our Domestic Abuse service. This is a flexi-hybrid role combining office-based
work, home working, and community-based delivery, depending on service needs.
You will play a
vital role in increasing access to domestic abuse support across Lincolnshire,
helping individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered. The role is varied,
dynamic, and sometimes fast-paced, combining direct support delivery, crisis
response, triage, and community engagement.
Key
Responsibilities
- Provide domestic abuse support
through community drop-ins, online sessions, and telephone clinics.
- Act as a first point of contact via
telephone and online chat, receiving enquiries from members of the public
and professionals.
- Assess, triage, and manage
referrals into outreach services, including crisis intervention and safety
planning.
- Deliver face-to-face support in
community venues across Lincolnshire (mileage paid per mile).
- Build trust quickly and provide
calm, trauma-informed and non-judgmental support, including during crisis
situations.
- Maintain accurate, timely case
recording and administrative tasks.
- Work both independently and
collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development of
accessible and effective community support pathways.
- Engage with community stakeholders
and represent EDAN Lincs professionally and with integrity.
- Maintain high standards of safety,
security, confidentiality, and safeguarding in all settings.
- Use knowledge of local services and
referral pathways to provide effective signposting and ongoing support.
About You
You will:
- Hold a full, clean UK driving
licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Have relevant experience or
knowledge of domestic abuse (desirable).
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification
or equivalent relevant experience.
- Be confident working autonomously
while remaining connected to a wider team.
- Have strong organisational and
administrative skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication
skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse individuals
and professionals.
- Remain calm, responsive, and
professional when supporting individuals in crisis.
- Show a clear commitment to
safeguarding, confidentiality, and trauma-informed practice.
- Be willing to travel across Lincolnshire and attend the office as required.

fundraising related activities.

support individuals/families who have been affected by domestic abuse.
We are looking to
recruit committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team, in
the post of Refuge Child & Family Engagement Worker. The post holder will be
required to provide support to children and their families in our refuge
accommodation in the East Lindsey area.
Relevant experience
and knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on children and young people is
desirable.
Qualification NVQ level 3 OR equivalent qualification or experience is required.

by domestic abuse.
The
ideal applicant will be required to work with individuals who have experienced
domestic abuse in their lives, to create personalised support plans to help
them move forward with an independent life that is safe and free from domestic
abuse while reflecting the values of EDAN Lincs.
The
successful applicant will be a reliable individual who has proven experience of
emotional and practical support, including being proficient in working
holistically to deliver risk assessment,
safety planning, confidence and self-esteem while working in a high paced and
often challenging, but highly rewarding, workplace.
Relevant
experience or knowledge of the causes and effects of domestic abuse on adults,
children and young people is desirable.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience is required.
