Community Outreach and Engagement

Edan Lincs has a Community Outreach Engagement Team (OET)

Proactive Early Interventions

The Outreach Engagement Team (OET) at Edan Lincs is an innovative initiative designed to provide proactive early interventions for communities and individuals facing barriers to accessing domestic abuse support services.

Community Awareness and Capacity Building

We are dedicated to increasing community awareness of domestic abuse through training, consultancy, and collaboration with key partners. By working with existing community groups, we aim to build their capacity to identify and support domestic abuse victims effectively.

Sustainable Survivor Support Networks

Our team supports the establishment and development of sustainable survivor support networks. These networks are independently run and enhance local support for victims, ensuring they receive the help they need.

Partnership, Collaboration and Consultancy Services

A key priority for the OET is to foster strong partnerships with allocated partners and key referrers across Lincolnshire. Our goal is to develop a robust, collaborative approach to responding to domestic abuse and improving the overall experience of support services for victims.  If you have a problem with violence against women and girls (VAWG), honour-based violence or domestic abuse for any gender identity in your area or organisation, then contact us for consultancy services to support you in designing a solution.

Connection and Empowerment

Would your community, business, or service benefit from increased awareness and empowerment around domestic abuse? Edan Lincs can help.

Presentations

We offer presentations to enhance your team or community group's knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse. This includes identifying and responding to victims and breaking down barriers to accessing support.
