Get involved on social media

Raising awareness about domestic abuse is a vital part of creating change, and you can play an essential role in spreading the message. By following us on social media and sharing our posts, you help amplify our reach and support efforts to educate and inform others about the signs of abuse and available resources.

Engaging with our content, whether by liking, commenting, or sharing, allows you to become an active part of the conversation. Your involvement can inspire others to speak out, seek help, or take action within their own communities.

You can also help us expand our network by using hashtags related to our work, joining any campaigns we run or are involved in, or simply talking about domestic abuse in your circles. Every post, comment, and share brings us closer to a community that supports survivors and promotes a life free from abuse. We use #enddomesticabusenow.

Together, we can make a difference, raise awareness, and create lasting change

Become a Domestic Abuse Champion

We are currently educating a network of Domestic Abuse Champions across Lincolnshire, with a particular focus on reaching those in 'hard-to-reach' communities and groups.

This network serves as the eyes and ears throughout the county. Champions may include professionals, business owners, survivors, or members of the public who share our commitment to creating a life free from abuse.

The primary role of Domestic Abuse Champions is to raise awareness of domestic abuse within their communities, groups, or settings. They will help identify signs of abuse and guide individuals to the support they need. Acting as a vital link between victims and specialist services, they play a crucial role in connecting people with the help available. It is a set of skills to provide confidence when having conversations with someone experiencing domestic abuse to remove barriers to referring in for support.

If you are interested in attending a training day where you will gain these skills to guide anyone experiencing domestic abuse in Lincolnshire to refer in for support,  please email da.champions@ldass.org.uk.
