EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service is a charity that offers support to all those who experience/or who have experienced domestic abuse, whether physical, emotional, sexual or financial across Lincolnshire. We are looking for a new chair to lead and inspire.

Trustees Wanted
EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service was established in 1999. The organisation has continued to develop and expand its services to meet the ever growing demand for complex support for victims of domestic abuse.
EDAN Lincs offers support to all those who experience/or who have experienced domestic abuse, whether physical, emotional, sexual or financial, and this now includes supporting men.
We are looking for people who have experience, knowledge or a strong background in all aspects of finance and accounts and housing
If you are keen to utilise your knowledge and skills in these areas on a voluntary basis to support the development of
EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service we would like to hear from you.
You will need to attend bi-monthly board meetings and offer assistance and help when required. You will also have the opportunity to take a lead on specific areas to support the development of the organisation.

Specialist Domestic Abuse Worker (SDAW)
Contract term up until 31/03/23 – subject to funding thereafter
37.5 hours per week
£21,500 FTE
Are you committed and enthusiastic to making a difference to those affected by domestic abuse?
Do you feel passionate about ‘Ending Domestic Abuse Now’ in Lincolnshire?
The role will primarily entail offering intervention for those affected by domestic abuse, including risk management, safety planning, domestic abuse awareness, confidence and self-esteem and exploring a holistic support package. The role can be varied, dynamic and fast-paced, and require a good level of communication and able to build rapport quickly. Relevant experience or knowledge around domestic abuse is desirable. NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience if required.
EDAN Lincs is a Lincolnshire countywide Domestic Abuse Service offering refuge, outreach and IDVA support. EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service provides refuge accommodation, outreach support and a wide range of support services for all who suffer domestic abuse; thus promoting safety, well-being and independence within the community. Our main office is based in Lincoln however we provide support to the whole of Lincolnshire.

Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) – Boston Pilgrim Hospital
Contract until March 2023 – subject to funding thereafter
37.5 hours per week
£23,000 FTE
We are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team to provide support and crisis intervention to high risk cases referred to MARAC
All applicants must have a sound understanding of the effects of domestic abuse and experience of working with crisis intervention; you will be expected to provide a pro-active, short term service in a multi-agency framework, focusing on high risk victims.
The successful applicant will be based at Boston Pilgrim hospital, taking high risk cases referred to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC); the base of work to be negotiated.
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake and achieve SafeLives national training for IDVAs.
Based at Boston Pilgrim hospital, you will be a point of contact for patients disclosing domestic abuse to NHS staff.
Supporting NHS staff with their risk assessments and referral processes.
Looking to have a caseload of clients whom are assessed as high risk and work within a multi-agency approach.
PPE will be given, options to have the COVID vaccination given, access to lateral flow tests, full risk assessments completed before entering the hospital after an induction period.
NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience is required.
Experience in safeguarding is essential
(A car driver & access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this post)
