Trustees Wanted

EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service was established in 1999.  The organisation has continued to develop and expand its services to meet the ever growing demand for complex support for victims of domestic abuse.

EDAN Lincs offers support to all those who experience/or who have experienced domestic abuse, whether physical, emotional, sexual or financial, and this now includes supporting men.

We are looking for people who have experience, knowledge or a strong background in all aspects of finance and accounts and housing

If you are keen to utilise your knowledge and skills in these areas on a voluntary basis to support the development of

EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service we would like to hear from you.

You will need to attend bi-monthly board meetings and offer assistance and help when required. You will also have the opportunity to take a lead on specific areas to support the development of the organisation

Triage Assessment Worker

EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service provides refuge accommodation, floating support and a wide range of support services for all who suffer domestic abuse; thus promoting safety, well-being and independence within the community.  Our main office is based in Lincoln however we provide support to the whole of Lincolnshire.

EDAN Lincs upholds safeguarding requirements and our agency is committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.  Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, which include: Identity verification; Qualification verification; DBS clearance; References.

12 month contract – subject to ‘funding’ thereafter

18 hours per week

£19,000 FTE

We are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team to provide support for individuals/families who have been affected by living with abuse. The post holder will be required to provide direct support and intervention to adults, children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

Relevant experience or knowledge of the causes and effects of domestic abuse on adults, children and young people is desirable.

NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience is required.

(A car driver & access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for these post)

We are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team to provide support for children/young people who have been affected by domestic abuse. The post holder will be required to provide direct support and intervention to both families and children / young people.

Relevant experience and knowledge of the causes and effects of domestic abuse in particular the effect this has on children/young people is desirable.

NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience is required.

Volunteers

You really can make a difference with only a few hours each week supporting victims of domestic abuse.

EDAN Lincs mission is for men, women and children to live a life free from abuse, and with your time and support, you can help to ‘End Domestic Abuse Now in Lincolnshire’.

We need volunteers to join our exciting volunteer project and provide at least 4 hours each week between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.  Volunteering with EDAN Lincs can not only make you feel you are truly making a difference, but give you skills and experience for your own personal and professional development.
